Historical Notes: A.J.Allom painted a copy of a watercolour by William Fox, showing Arthur Wakefield's, later Stafford's home in Nelson. The Library also has records of watercolours of Manawatu, 1842, by him. He was the son of lithographer and engraver, Thomas Allom.
