A car full of passengers labelled 'Town Planning Committee' is being driven "Full steam ahead" up an on-ramp sign posted 'Foothills Motorway'. Beneath the on-ramp are unhappy protestors holding placards 'Protest', 'Objection', 'More Opinions', 'Postphonement', 'Think Again'. The motorway the car is joining is clogged with traffic. The Wellington City Council Town Planning Committee overruled the public protest against the construction of the 'Foothills Motorway' through the suburb of Thorndon in Wellington.
