Landscape in Ngaio (formerly known as Crofton), Wellington, looking towards the railway cutting, circa 1876. Aplin's old homestead is on the right, behind which stood Chew's sawmill. The house on left belonged to Mrs Gibson (nee Chew), the property was known as Millwood. Photographer unidentified.
