Sailing ship Mairi Bhan at Port Chalmers. Photograph taken by David Alexander De Maus in 1874. Dated from the Comber Index which indicates the Mairi Bhan made only one voyage to Port Chalmers, her maiden voyage, sailing in May 1874 from Greenock, arriving at Port Chalmers on 24 July 1874. She sailed on 24 September for San Francisco.
