Inscriptions: Inscribed - Recto - bottom right: S. G. Decr 1852; Verso - At top: "Copied from the original drawing, August 1858. I am sorry to say this likeness is not so good as in that taken for my dear Mother, and which she kindly sent me back, after my dear child's death. Sarah Greenwood, Woodlands, Motueka, New Zealand". At bottom left: 'Died 25th of July 1854.' On bottom right: 'Portrait of my fourth daughter, Agnes Bazing Greenwood, when nearly eleven years old, Feb. 1852'.
