Historical Notes: After entering the front gate of the temple, a path flanked by buildings such as treasuries, the sacred stable, and the Sutra Repository, leads to the entrance to the main courtyard. This is the Yomei-mon gate which also includes a gatehouse in its second story. This detail is from the right hand portion of the ground story of the gate.
