Shows Premier Richard Seddon squeezing a farmer in a press. Behind Seddon is a red splash representing blood. Seddon is showing smoking a cigar and looking unconcerned, while a label below the farmer is marked 'Future taxation:- the whole of the farmer's earnings' and the farmer comments 'You'll screw the life out of me Mr Seddon!' Seddon responds 'I mean to!'. An extract from a Woolston speech is on the lower left, quoting Seddon remarking that many of the Tory landowners were shivering in their shoes, lest there should be another turn of the screw.
