Forster, William James, 1851-1891 :S. S. Red Jacket. [ca 1870].

Shows portrait of the American-built "Red Jacket" passenger ship, with three small triangular sails, and a steam funnel, making its way through a moderate swell on grey water. The sky is overcast and threatening. The ship has a grey hull with red highlights. Some six passengers stand at various points on the deck.
