Coventry, Frederick Halford, b 1905 :Hauhau ritual dance [1936?]

Shows a group of armed Maori men brandishing their weapons beneath a tall flagpole flying three very large flags of the Hauhau movement. In the foreground lie a Maori mask with moko, and the mask of a European soldier, upon a crossed rifle and axe.
