Interior view of the Maori church at Turanga, (Gisborne), with congregation seated on the floor. The church includes carved or painted pillars, kowhaiwhai (painted rafters and uprights) and woven tututuku panels on the walls. Four lancet windows with leadlight glass are at the east end of the church.
