Ridge-pole of the Parourangi meeting house, at Waiomatatini, being lowered to the ground when the house was dismantled under the supervision of Apirana Ngata. The site was encroached upon by flood waters and the meeting house was being re-erected on higher ground. Photographer unidentified.
