Scott, Thomas, 1947- :Boy, I'm tempted to yell "Fire!" before Marian gets out of the way... 15 February 2000

Reference Number: H-606-078

The cartoon is divided into two sections horizontally. In the top section Marian Hobbs, Minister for Broadcasting, has four Television New Zealand executives blindfolded and tied up to posts and is saying "I've lined TVNZ execs - sorry TVNZ Board members, against the wall, boss - over to you..." In the section below a smiling Helen Clark, Prime Minister, thinks "Boy, I'm tempted to yell "Fire!" before Marian gets out of the way.." Marian Hobbs, as a new and impulsive Cabinet Minister, had made some mistakes.
