Shows a pair of inset oval head and shoulders portraits of George, Duke of York, in Royal Air Force uniform, and his bride Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, soon to be Duchess of York, and mother of Elizabeth II. The insets are surrounded by roses, thistles, and lilies. At lower left and right are laurel wreaths enclosing the Royal Air Force insignia, and a Scottish thistle.
