Shows a Maori child feeding a tohunga with food on the end of a stick, in front of a whare. A steaming bowl of potatoes in a kete is beside the child and a gourd is behind him or her. The whare's ridge pole has a carving of a face, thatched walls and roof and a palisade to the left
