The monoplane 'Faith in Australia', February 1934

The first trans-Tasman airmail flight. Charles Ulm, with his Avro 10 monoplane VH-UXX, 'Faith in Australia' at Ninety Mile Beach loading mail for Sydney. Constable Percy Clements is on guard at right. Norman McDonald is third from the left. Taken in February 1934 by Arthur James Northwood.
