Shows a moa in the right foreground, being ridden by three Maori children, and led by a Maori man and youth. Two kiwi walk by the feet of the youth. There is a lake and hills in the background.One of the moa riders has been identified as Eti Kupa. The man is Taketake. Three of the four figures are identifiable from photographs by W H T Partington (Wanganui Regional Museum's Partington collection)
