Vigors' sketch ("No. 18"), is subtitled "a New Zealand girl". She is shown in a plain European dress, with a single ear-ring, short hair and facial tattoo (moko).Sketch is from Vigor's journal of his voyage on HMS Havannah and is mounted on a page following p 56.
