Copy of a painting by Barraud, copied either by John (Jack) Hoggard, or by Edith Richardson, sister-in-law of John Farr Hoggard. Shows John Farr Hoggard's house, built 1856 north of Clay Point, approximately where the Bank of New South Wales stood in mid-20th century. Also shows a row of shops in Lambton Quay.
