The cartoon is in three parts and shows a man trying to get to the South Island. First he trys the airport which is closed due to fog. He then tries the ferry which is not operating due to disputes. He then tries to row accross but cannot leave the harbour due to the harbour being closed. Refers to Government policy on overseas fishing ventures, New Zealand fishermen, strikes by ferry workers and Wellington airport being closed due to fog.
