Illustrated New Zealand herald :The wreck of the Tararua - Lawrence's swim through the breakers. 1881.

Five men in a life boat in stormy seas, with a sixth swimming near them, to the left. The life boat has the name Tararua Dunedin on its stern. The Tararua was wrecked in Foveaux Strait in 1881.
