A Davidson locomotive leaving Whakamarama sawmill with a load of sawn timber for the Auckland line. One of the sawmill workers is sitting on one of the loads of timber being pulled by the locomotive. There is another worker standing next to the train, and the driver is standing in the cab, but looking towards the photographer. Taken by an unidentified photographer.
