Historical Notes: Thomas Andrew, in company with Frederick Moss and George Dunnett (the supercargo) was in the course of a Pacific voyage on the Henderson and Macfarlane schooner "Buster", which left Auckland on 18 September 1886 and returned seven months later. The Mortlock Islands were the last group visited before a 46 day passage back to Auckland. (Source: "Through atolls and islands in the great south sea", by Frederick Moss).
