Crowd outside Revington's Hotel in Greymouth. The hotel is decorated with banners that read "V.R." (Victoria Regina), and Cead Mille Failthe (one hundred thousand welcomes). The public reading room and school of mines is on the right. Taken by an unidentified photographer in the 1890s, possibly during Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee.
