Lambton Quay, Wellington, 1920s

Lambton Quay, Wellington. There are trams and cars travelling down the Quay, people crossing the street, and walking along the footpath. The entrance for the New Zealand Insurance Company can be seen on the opposite side of the street from the photographer. A sign advertising the Trocadero Hotel can be seen above the footpath on the right hand side of the image. Taken by Sydney Charles Smith in the 1920s.
