Robley, Horatio Gordon, 1840-1930 :Gateway to a Maori Pa [ca 1864]

A tall carved gateway with palisades on both sides, probably copied from a Robley drawing by A. H. Messenger for 'Making New Zealand'. The gateway is the one located at Maketu Pa.
