Hamley, Joseph Osbertus 1820-1911 :Pukerimu, Waikato. [April 1864]

Rear-wheel paddle steamer Kohira discharging troops from the Waikato River to the landing at Pukerimu during the Waikato War. There are military tents, huts and men on horseback and the land. The watercolour is a copy of a watercolour by Colonel Edward Arthur Williams held by the Hocken Library and entitled Landing at Pukerimu. April '64.
