Haere atu ra, e tenei aroha oku, kimi haere atu ra, e toku aroha, i toku kainga i oku tungaane. Mehemea e kite koe, e toku aroha, i a ratou i oku tungaane, ka mihi atu ki a ratou. Tena ra koe, e te iwi, mihi atu ra ki a ratou e noho ana i runga i te whenua, ki a ratou kua mate i te kino, ki a ratou e ora ana, ki a ratou i mate i te pai i te whakapono, tangi atu, mihi atu, mea atu ki a ratou, tena koe i nga mate, tena koe e te iwi, tena koe i te whaka. Ki te mea ka kite koe i toku tungaane, i a Kurupo ratou ko ana teina ko Tareha, ki oku whanaunga katoa, ki oku matua kato[a], ki a ratou e noho ana i runga i te oneone.

E hoa ma, tena ra koutou me te iwi[?], me te kainga. Tenei au te mihi kau atu nei ki te ao o te rangi. E taea hoki koa, e te iwi, te aha, na te kino tona ka wenga mai ki whenua o tangata, ahakoa kei te kainga na tou tinana ko tou ingoa, ku[a] tae mai i to Pakeha i a Te Makarini.
