19 Maehe 1853


Haere, e taku pukapuka, ki a Hakaraia raua ko Erina[?], ko Ripeka.

E tama, tena koutou ko tamahine. E tama, ka nui toku aroha atu ki a koutou katoa. Ka timata tenei he waiata:

Tenei ka noho na noa, he hurihanga[?] whanake ka waro[?] horo mai au e, iti ki nga miroia ka hora[?] ia hoki, ko nga turae o toku hinengaro[?] ka kinga au ka mate, na waihoki te mea ka tangarautia.
