To McLean

Friend,

Greetings to you. Now I at last write to you about the payments for the land, and this is my agreement to them, because the boundary is set, and if people's words just fly about over that, it will not be settled. Enough of meetings, this is my [view] regarding the three lands of Rangitikei, Turakina and Wangaehu, and so I write to you, for I have no plans after this. That's all, it ends here. The arrangement for the money is for seventy-eight. That's it.

From your good friend,
Panapa Huru-te-rangi
