Notebook - Maori history, letter drafts, name and hapu lists, Mar-Apr 1848

A small notebook kept by McLean during his travels to Rangitikei and Kapiti in early 1848. Included are lists of names and hapu meet and comments about them, notes on Hawaiki and waka traditions, recording of talks with Te Rauparaha, and some letter drafts.
