Sir, McLean,

This is to advise you of my portions of land at Wangaehu, to inform you of the seaward boundary of my part, that begins at Kihia and goes inland to Tohurau, Waiwero, Taepae, and there ends for me. These parts lie beside the Wangaehu river, but this doesn't include the names of the lands which lie inland. That's all.

Sir, McLean,

To inform you of the name of my tribal group, it is the Ngati Kakahu tribe. Hone Ropiha Te Moko is the head, and [also] Hamiora Rahurahura, Ruihi Te Wai, and Hipera Ririu. That's the end.

Hoani Wiremu Hipango, witness for me, for Hone Ropiha
