I notice by R. speech that he is modifying his view about prov. and placing himself entirely in the hands of his Consti. There is no news of any importance up here. The weather has been the most frightful that I have known for many years. I am afraid there must be a considerable loss of sheep in some part of the Colony but from what I can gather Hawkes Bay has not been so unfavourably treated as other places -
