My dear Sir,

I enclose the copy of a letter forwarded to you when I was at Mokau.

Nothing new at Taranaki since you left. The "Cordelia" had arrived, and likewise the "City of Sydney" the latter with about 200 of the 12th.

Faithfully yours,
H. Halse.
