I am buoyed up in the hope of getting some stray tidings if not a telegram during the day. Nothing has transpired here of any moment. Tradesmen not commenced to do anything yet to the house. Sir Hercules Robinson has done his mission at Fiji well. It is now a bona fide E. colony. The same rumour is still rampant here. I have just heard once from Akitio. It is raining today.
