Letter from Hone Te One by post - says Tawhiao has issued notice to people at Kawhia that spilling blood murder to cease - potatono whakahaereo the old men are not to manage any longer as they have permitted murder. Tawhiao's people called lambs are to take their place cultivating food is to be their work. Hore Wetere just arrived have not see him to speak to yet.
