My dear Sir,

There is a vessel just going to Napier which has on board a thrashing machine for your friend Hapuku - all expenses are paid on this side and he will have to look after it after landing - I have a long letter to write you about many things which I shall commence without fail to do so tomorrow morning. I dont like the way things are going here at all. Bell is a great humbug.

I am yours
John Rogan
