My Dear McLean,

Mete Kingi will not be satisfied without a note from me to you expressing my desire to see him made a Lord of. He would be a pleasant legacy to leave behind us but as you know him quite as well as I do I need so no more. Of course I only write to satisfy his importunity. He comes about it nearly every morning.

Yours faithfully,
Wm. Fox
