Memorandum for Mr. McLean.
Mr. McLean is authorized to arrange with any of the separate bodies of Natives owning distinct blocks of land at Coromandel that one Pound per head per annum for every digger licensed to dig on such block should be paid to the owners of the same.
Mr. McLean is also authorized to close any pending negociations for sale at Coromandel at a price not exceeding three shillings and sixpence per acre.
