Sir,

Nothing new since your Honor's departure. The Assembly was prorogued at o'clock on Tuesday. Every one anxiously looking out for Orderly, Steamer and news. Heard of Lockwood being shot. No orderly from Wairoa up to 10 h. o'clock A. M.
