I have much pleasure in being the channel through which the Force under my command have thought fit to tender for your acceptance a "mere mere" taken at "Waeringa Ahika" and I trust you will be good enough to accept the same as a slight testimonial from us of the kindness you always have shown to the Colonial Forces engaged under your instructions.
