Wellington.

Dear Sir,

I trust you will not think I am asking too much, but if you would permit me to draw the money I receive for the "Boys" monthly, instead of quarterly, it would be a very great convenience to me.

I would not trouble you, but my building expenses have amounted to more that II expected; and I am consequently very much pressed for ready money.

If this meets your approbation, and you would kindly send a telegram to Mr. Gill, that I might receive it next month, you would confer the greatest possible favour upon,

Dear Sir, Yours most respectfully, (Signed)
Jane Boughton.
To:- The Honourable Donald McLean.
