Rangiawhia,
Feb. 21st, 1855.

My Dear Sir,

Col. Wynyard or Dr. Sinclair advised me to speak to you respecting 80 acres of land which the Natives are unanimously agreed to sell to you per me --- Pray Dr. Sir generously interest yourself per me --- Now that all parties in the presence of Potatau --- Wetere Hownui and other great chiefs as well as all claimants assembled on purpose are agreed --- You will see Mr. Morgans letter which I left with Mr. Kemp --- Since that every shadow of an obstacle as far as the Natives are concerned is removed.

Believe me, Dear Sir,
Yr. obedt. Servt.
W. Harsant.
D. McLean, Esqre.
