My dear Mr.Taylor,

A relative of your teacher E Hari at Tihoi is going down there to bring him up here, as it is reported that he is very unwell. You will have received by the Waikato Native a letter I wrote you on Saturday night in which I informed you that Basil was making considerable improvement in his conduct and I am glad to be still able to report similarly of him.

Mr.Riemensnichder is as I then told you stationed at Warea he has just come in from there today he is at present with me and has read your letter to which he intends replying by the first opportunity as this happens to be too hurried for letter writing.
