My dear Mr. Parris

I send you a paper by Col. Mould, slightly altering some of your arrangements, but on the whole the same spirit -

The military men think that any positive orders should emanate from the Commanding Officer of the Troops at the Post -

It has not yet been shown to Col. Gold, but if you will communicate with me or with Col.Mould this evening it shall be brought forward tomorrow morning.

Your faithfully
William Loring
.
