My Dear McLean,

I rejoice - I am sure it is quite necessary to take every possible step and I authorise you to do so - I send you a Paper containing Smiths excellent article in the Maori Messenger

Send it me back again as I want it for my brother.

Have you heard

that W. K. has occupied the Hinia Pah and another close to, or in the Block?

Yours sincerely,
T. Gore Browne.

I think letters shd. go to all the chiefs of importance. Perhaps you might like to print a circular if so do it.
