We, the undersigned Chiefs of the Ngatiapa tribe do hereby acknowledge that we have this day received on behalf of ourselves and tribe from Mr. McLean, the sum of Five Hundred Pounds, (£500) being the amount of the second instalment due to us on the 15th. day
