I send Mr Campbell's book & purse to you as you are better known at the port than he is. I am glad to tell you that my headache is quite gone. Douglas took ill with the very same

next day and was really very ill but I gave him medisine and he is now quite well again. He and myself is going up to spend the day at Mrs Oliver's. The change will do us both good.

I hope that you will soon come up. I don't like to see you going away. Douglas sends you his love. He is a good boy taking care of his aunt.
