Dear Sir

I have tryed in all ways to settle the Ngaitu dispute but it is of no use

I must now either give (£10) or make Rangihaere do so It is the only chance I hope to do something with Ngapuhi.

Taylor is with Ihaka Makahui I hold back Wangawehi.

Happy Jack's son is in Town with Walker he is the son of the principal owner - Taylor's sister - He is in employ
